More than Wall Street

A renaissance of growth has turned once-quiet Downtown Manhattan into a bustling part of town. New restaurants, shopping, historical attractions, and museums have transformed this area into much more than the Wall Street of years’ past.

The addition of Brookfield Place and Westfield World Trade brought a shopping center to the island of Manhattan. All connected and located in-doors, these complexes connect dozens of retail stores and culinary experiences. South Street Seaport, Battery Park City, and the West Side Piers offer outdoor activities for all ages. From Grand Banks (an oyster bar aboard the historic wooden schooner), to miniature golf at Pier 25 to the sea glass carousel at Battery Park or seasonal ice skating at Brookfield, the options are endless.

Downtown is overflowing with history and adventure – so have your camera ready. With Trinity Church (shout out to Alexander Hamilton!), City Hall, Brooklyn Bridge, the Woolworth Building, 9/11 World Trade Center, and the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island Ferry, there is so much culture to explore.
