There’s always a variety of things going on in the city. We have amazing music, family-friendly festivals, delicious local restaurants, extraordinary hotels and historic sites.
My Perfect Day
What to do in a place like this if you only have 24 hours?
Check into the beautiful St. Louis Union Station, Curio Collection by Hilton. I’d love for anyone who visits St. Louis to stay there because there’s really no place like it! Start your morning by going to the fitness center; then have a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
Find your way to the popular City Museum, which is only a few minutes away. It is smart to visit the City Museum earlier in the day before it gets too crowded. There are so many cool exhibits to see and the rooftop views of downtown (and the whole city) are exceptional!
For lunch, you definitely want to go to The Hill and grab a bite at Zia’s. The Hill is an amazing Italian neighborhood in St. Louis. The Chicken Soto at Zia’s is scrumptious, but you can’t go wrong with anything there.
After lunch, head over to The Loop! This is a perfect place to do some shopping and walking. A couple of my favorite local stores are Serendipity Gallery, which is an art store with lots of detailed and unique merchandise; and Pitaya, an affordable trendy women’s clothing boutique. There are so many places to check out, so do some exploring!
In the evening, head over to Central West End. Have dinner at Taste, one of our local favorites, and enjoy a few of their amazing craft cocktails. Their brick chicken is known to be one of the best plates, but everything on the menu is tasty!
To end your night, I would recommend taking a stroll through the Holiday Station at St. Louis Union Station, Curio Collection by Hilton. The lights and decorations are magical! You’ll love it here any time of year, but it is especially fun during the holiday season!
