Brains and Beauty

Cambridge and Somerville are known for their many prestigious colleges and universities. Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Tufts University are all located within a few miles of each other. Cambridge neighborhoods are subdivided into different “squares,” each with its own unique personality, sights, and attraction. Cambridge, Somerville and Charlestown are just over the bridge of the Charles River from downtown Boston, a short ride on the T.

Two miles north of Boston, Somerville is home to residents of many different ethnicities and cultures. With its rich cultural diversity, Somerville is one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the region. At new lifestyle center, Assembly Row, living and working spaces mix with outlet shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Charlestown is the second-oldest neighborhood in Boston, with many well-known historic landmarks such as the Bunker Hill Monument, U.S.S. Constitution and the Navy Yard.
