Top Chefs and Local Craft Breweries

Just north of downtown, San Diego’s Little Italy district is home to patio cafés, boutiques, art galleries, craft breweries, and restaurants. On Kettner Boulevard, you’ll find “Top Chef Alley,” which features restaurants from past contenders on the show, including Richard Blais and Brian Malarkey. Every Saturday from 8am to 2pm, visit Little Italy Mercato, a unique farmers market along W. Cedar Street, with farm fresh produce, meats, flowers, and natural beauty products from over 200 vendors.

If you are a fan of craft beer, stop in to Ballast Point, Bolt Brewery, or Karl Strauss Brewing Company tasting rooms. San Diego’s Little Italy is 48 square blocks, making it the largest in the United States.
