Halloween 2019 is nearly here in Dallas!

Spooky celebrations are in store across the city, with plenty of options for families, kids, adults, ghouls and ghosts alike! No matter what corner of the city you are in, there is sure to a great Halloween event in store. So grab your costume of get out there!

 

Pumpkin Nights

A new arrival in DFW, Pumpkin Nights is a recent phenomenon spreading across the country. Pumpkin Nights is a half mile trail, packed with spooky, vibrant, and Instagramable art installations made up of over 3,000 pumpkins! The trail is family-friendly, and you’re encouraged to take as long as you’d like along the trail!

October 10 through November 13

Adult tickets are $20, and kids tickets are $16. Kids under 3 are free!

 

FrightFest

One of the staples of Halloween, FrightFest at Six Flags Over Texas returns once again. The theme park is dressed to scare, with many buildings and rides given spooky makeovers. Haunted houses are also added throughout the park, and guests can enter ‘Scare Zones’ if they dare.

Day of the Dead Festival Denton

Denton’s Halloween celebration truly has something for everyone and celebrates all things Fall. Start the day off browsing vendors and sampling food, then take in the Salsa Tasting Showdown and “coffin” races. Then you can wrap up the evening exploring the pumpkin patch and the twilight parade! And’s that only a sampling of the festivities!

The festival is held at Denton’s Historic Square. Parking is available.

The Day of the Dead Festival is one day only, held on October 26.

Kids Spooktacular at Legacy West

Where is the Kids Spooktacular?

The Lexus Box Garden in located at 7800 Windrose Ave, Plano, TX 75024.

When is it being held?

It’s being held on October 30 from 9am to Noon.

Cost:

$15 per attendee, including children.

Oaklawn Halloween Block Party

Quickly becoming a staple of Halloween in Dallas, the Oaklawn Block Party is an outdoor, all-night celebration for everyone fromwalks of life, held in the Oak Lawn Neighborhood. Come dressed with your best costume and you may end up on the Costume Promenade, complete with live commentary! A DJ will be adding a soundtrack to the proceedings all night long.

Where is the Oaklawn Block Party?

The block party is held near Round-Up Saloon in Oaklawn, a neighborhood in downtown Dallas.

When is it being held?

The block party is on October 26 from 7pm to 2am
