Aloha! The Embassy Suites by Hilton Waikiki Beach Walk was a slice of heaven. Their resort and staff really left a beautiful imprint in our lives. It was our kids first time in Hawaii and it was an amazing trip for the books! Also, we went during “off season” and it was the best. Better weather than where we live, less people traveling, cheaper rates, but just as much fun! I’ll share our trip timeline as my review.

DAY 1 The resort gave us the warmest welcome with sunshine, lei’s, best guava juice, their beautiful resort, and the dreamiest in-room picnic by Paradise Soiree Hawaii. They really know how to make you feel at home, but even better with an awesome staff spoiling us. The Embassy Suites Waikiki is the only all-suite resort with complimentary breakfast and an evening poolside reception. I’m talking all the fresh eats, snacks Mai Tai’s, margaritas, and fresh juices.

So awesome having these amenities right downstairs and we were right at heart of the Waikiki Beach Walk. A fun activity to do if you’re there on a Friday night is watch the fireworks show. It is just a short walk over to their sister resort, the Hilton Hawaiian Village which is just less than half a mile walk away. The resort is right off Waikiki Beach where we spent our night hanging out.

DAY 2 The best times just kept coming at Embassy Suites Waikiki. We spent the entire day pool side. Their embassy private cabana was pure bliss! We ordered lunch there and enjoyed frozen cocktail smoothies. The cabana is tucked away in the corner for more privacy, more space, yet still not too far from the pool action.

In the evening, we went to the complimentary happy hour before heading out for dinner. We walked to Tropics Bar & Grill at Hilton Hawaiian Village.  We sat outside to see the amazing oceanfront view and enjoyed our dinner. We had the cajun-style seafood boil, a variety platter of locally sourced seafood, and the kids had a mini pepperoni pizza.

DAY 3 They have a surf shop, Big Wave Daves Surf Co right downstairs at the resort. They had all the beach gear and surf equipment you need! Not to mention they also have some real good coffee. We started our day watching daddy have a private surf lesson with them. They provided everything from his soft-top board to his rash guard, an awesome surf instructor, and a photographer that captures photos and videos of your entire surf lesson. It is a great keepsake.

We also got beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie board from them. It was a quick walk to Waikiki Beach at a nice spot that was more secluded and shallow waters. I highly recommend them! Awesome husband and wife company along with an amazing staff. After hanging out at the beach, we were back at our hotel pool. But, in a different cabana that was directly in front of the pool.

DAY 4 This was sadly our last day in paradise. We ate breakfast, got snacks from Big Wave Dave’s Surf Co, and packed up to leave.  It was an absolute dream Embassy Suites Waikiki! We would trade our fall for the fall season here anytime! Wishing we could pocket this beautiful island and keep it forever.  We had the best time around our hotel and the surrounding areas of Waikiki Beach and Waikiki Beach Walk. Hawaii has so much to offer all year round and we loved going off season. You should consider it! We soaked up all the Hawaiian sun and enjoyed all the Embassy Suites Waikiki amenities. We are dreaming of our trip back and want to plan for another perfect stay with the Hilton Hawaii. Mahalo Embassy Suites Waikiki!
