Shima at The Island House
If you’re in the mood for some Southeast Asian cuisine, you’re in luck! Situated on the western side of the island, Shima will certainly not disappoint. Located atop The Island House, this open-air restaurant boasts both great food and an incredible atmosphere. Enjoy some tuna or kingfish sashimi, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, order the “feed me” and Shima’s Chef Dave will do the heavy lifting for you, curating the ultimate tasting meal for the table!

Lucianos of Chicago
Winner of the Local Favorites Award in 2015, Luciano’s of Chicago offers traditional Tuscan fare in the heart of Nassau. Located within a waterfront mansion packed with history, Luciano’s is the ultimate destination for those in pursuit of an authentic Italian dining experience. What makes Luciano’s such a standout dining experience is it’s willingness to present guests with Tuscan dishes alongside Bahamian specialities, respecting the island’s local flavor.

The Bikini Hut
After a long day in the sun, make your way over to the Tiki Bikini Hut, also conveniently situated nearby the British Colonial Hilton Nassau. Sip on some locals beers and other locally inspired cocktails, and strike up conversation with other patrons. And located from steps from the water, the atmosphere and views are truly unmatched. Pro tip: be sure to order the grilled snapper or jerk chicken!

Social House Restaurant
If you’re looking to dine closer to the British Colonial Hilton Nassau and find yourself craving sushi, be sure to stop by Social House, the self-proclaimed premier sushi restaurant in Nassau. With an extensive menu, we guarantee there will be no shortage of options for everyone in the family. From plenty of shareable small bites to a variety of salads, tempuras and specialty makis, the options at Social House are truly limitless.

Café Matisse
Who doesn’t love a picturesque, centrally located Italian restaurant? We know we certainly do. One of our personal favorite eateries in the area, Cafe Matisse, offers al fresco dining amidst a charming courtyard setting. Don’t forget to request outdoor seating, the ideal backdrop for a romantic date or a lovely meal with the family. We highly recommend trying out the curry shrimp, a customer favorite. Traveling with a large group? Cafe Matisse has got you covered, and can accommodate for larger groups on the upstairs balcony!
