Steelbach, a southern-inspired kitchen, brings locally raised grass-fed beef (Pasture Plus finished) and innovative food preparation techniques together in a timeless chophouse flair to Armature Works.
Steelbach’s specific location in Armature Works was once the main office for the Tampa Electric Company (TECO) and includes three original fireplaces, original exposed brick walls and wood beams and a 100-year old safe that has been repurposed as a wine cellar. Some of the more distinctive features include grand chandeliers and unique lighting, open kitchen and characteristic seating arrangements. Steelbach can sit up to 170 guests when combining the indoor restaurant and private outdoor patio that overlooks the Hillsborough River and downtown Tampa.
Diners enjoy seasonal charred vegetables, locally finished beef with excellent marbling and premium flavor and use of the freshest ingredients with succulent flavors. There’s also an extensive whiskey and wine offering, fully stocked liquor bar and inventive cocktail menu.
Steelbach owns and raises its own cattle in Kenansville, FL, with farm partners Double C Bar and Ranch and Providence Cattle.
