Each of the events below are a stone’s throw away from the Boca Raton Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria resort; and about 30 minutes from our Hilton West Palm Beach property.

JANUARY EVENTS

Ring in the Japanese New Year on January 12th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Oshogatsu Festival.  The 42nd annual celebration at Morikami Museum in Boca Raton combines tastes, sights, and sounds of the New Year.  Experience a traditional tea ceremony, Japanese cuisine, beer, and rare sake, while enjoying the traditional New Year’s games.

South Florida embraces the arts with its many art festivals.  The 31st Annual Downtown Delray Festival of the Arts is coming to town January 18th and 19th.  Stroll up and down Atlantic Avenue to get a taste of the local art talent, along with national and international artists, food, and other local vendors.  The Festival of the Arts is one of the perfect things to do in Boca Raton for free!

Boca Raton is hosting their own Fine Art Show at Sanborn Square and Mizner Park Amphitheater January 25th – 26th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Stroll through the fine art and fine craft show and make sure to leave time before or after the show enjoy one of the many restaurants and shops within Mizner Park.

Delray Beach hosts one of the most well-choreographed Fashion Weeks around.  Fashion shows, a variety of events, shopping days, and more take over January 29th – February 2nd.  Clothing and accessories from local designers and shop owners are showcased, bringing a sense of pride to the village by the sea.

FEBRUARY EVENTS

If you are a seafood lover wondering what to do in Boca Raton, you need to go to the 3rd Annual Boca Raton Seafood & Music Festival held at Mizner Park February 7th – 9th.  Admission is only $5 per person; kids 12 and under are FREE!  Enjoy fresh food cooked onsite – seafood from Florida’s coastal waters, meat, and vegetarian dishes.

How romantic would it be to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Sunshine State with your love?  The Addison is hosting their Valentine’s Day Dinner from 7:30 p.m. – 11:30 pm complete with a four-course sit down dinner.  The late-night party after dinner is a super fun night to relax in their club-like atmosphere with live music and open bar.

Tennis fans gather at the Delray Beach Tennis Center for the 10-day Delray Beach Open, part of the ATP Tour circuit.  Watch some of the best tennis players volley for a win between February 14th – 23rd.

MARCH EVENTS

Boca Bacchanal is a collection of events supporting the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum.  On March 7th, purchase tickets to the Grand Tasting at the Great Hall at the Boca Raton Resort and Club, a Waldorf Astoria property.  Enjoy food from award-winning chefs, wines and Champagnes from across the globe, as well as many interactive experiences.

Don your favorite green attire and join everyone for the 52nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at the Delray Tennis Center!  March 15th is the pre-parade party from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  Admission is free!  Enjoy live music, purchase food and beverages and partake in games!  March 16th is the big day!  From 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., enjoy free admission once again!  This day is family-friendly

Sit at the longest dining table ever with 1,000 other guests on March 23rd at the 12th Annual Savor the Avenue in Delray Beach.  Participating local restaurants compete for the best table decor while you enjoy a multiple-course dining experience.  Reservations begin on February 1, so be sure to stay tuned to their website for restaurant details as tickets sell out fast!
