Creepy Hollow Haunted House – Rosharon

Ask any Houstonian haunted house connoisseur which is their favorite, and they’ll scream, “Creepy Hollow!” And, it’s for good reason – they’ve been voted ‘Scariest Haunted House in Texas.’ No joke, the website even touts that some adults can’t finish the course…
Open every Friday and Saturday from Sept. 21 – Nov. 3. Tickets are $30 for all attractions and $10 speed passes to the front of the line with no wait. Coupons available on their site for discounts off admission.
Phobia – Houston

Since 1996, Phobia’s been shelling out some of the scariest experiences in Houston. With 45 minutes of scares from three houses – Savage Ground, Contagion and DarkeWorld – you’ll have no idea which end is up or which way is out.
Open weekends from Sept. 28 – Nov. 3. Coupons and other exclusive offers are available at their official website. Visit one haunted house for $15, two for $30, or all three for $40.
Houston Terror Dome – Channelview

Yes, I’m absolutely suggesting that you get in a car and head down to Channelview for one of the most horrifying haunted houses Greater Houston has to offer. The owners of Houston Terror Dome suggest bringing an extra pair of underwear because of the improved haunts with new rooms, new effects and new characters. Children under 12 may enter, however it is not recommended. Seriously.
Open weekends and some Thursdays Sept. 21 – Nov. 2. Tickets are $20, VIP fast passes are $30 and for an extra $10, you can enter their paintball gallery and fight your fears. Multiple other discounts (Police, Military, Senior, and Group) available.
REDRUM Haunt – Richmond

Imagine live music filling your ears as you stumble terrified through four unique attractions – Cinegore, Twisted Circus 3D, Deadwood Asylum, and Lazer Fury. Welcome to REDRUM Haunted House. Each attraction has been upgraded with new twists and turns sure to leave you crying for mommy.
Open weekends from Oct. 4 – Nov. 2. Entries to all three attractions are $35 online and $40 at the door. A VIP Speed Freak pass is $45 online and $50 at the door. Every Sunday night will be Military Appreciation night, so those who’ve served or are currently serving can snag a $25 VIP Speed Freak wristband.
Houston Scream Fest – Houston

10 attractions including live concert stages, dance floors, horror movies, carnival games, zombie paintball, and food vendors await you at Houston Scream Fest. This isn’t just a haunted house, oh no, it’s a full-fledged haunted festival.
Open Thursday – Sunday all October. Police, firemen and active/inactive military get into the festival for free on select nights. General admission is $40 per person and a weekend park pass is $50.
