The Phoenix metropolitan area is one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country. Often referred to as the Valley of the Sun, the region includes the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, and Mesa.

With sunny days and comfortable temperatures November through April, this is the ideal time of year to visit. Hike, bike, golf, and soak up the sun in the Sonoran desert.

Downtown Phoenix and Old Town Scottsdale have always been an entertainment mecca. The Biltmore area offers upscale shopping and award-winning restaurants. Theaters, museums, shopping and sports venues are at the heart of Phoenix. Every major sports team calls Phoenix home. The Arizona Cardinal’s football stadium and the Phoenix Coyote’s hockey arena are located in Glendale, and the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks play in downtown Phoenix. Major League Baseball’s Cactus League spring training is one of the biggest draws to the Valley of the Sun in March.

The Phoenix area is home to many of the largest Fortune 100 companies such as Wal-Mart, American Express,Amazon, Intel, major banking and financial institutions and healthcare companies. The cities of Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, and Tempe are known as the financial and tech district.
