For the first time in it’s 20-year history, WorldPride will be held in the United States! NYC is thrilled to be the host city and commemorate the 50th anniversary of the monumental Stonewall Uprising. Celebrations will take place all throughout the month of June and in between parades and festivals, there’s still so much to enjoy in NYC.

As the background to many of your favorite TV shows and movies NYC is home to some of the most recognizable sites. While you’re here for Pride, June is the perfect time to see them all and know one knows these spots better than On Location Tours. Check out their top picks!

Sex and the City Hotspots Tour
Can you believe it’s been 21 years since we were graced with Carrie’s first internal monologue? The Sex and the City Hotspots Tour takes you all over Manhattan to get a cosmo at the original Scout’s, take a picture outside Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment, and pay a visit to the store where Charlotte get the “rabbit.” Still a groundbreaking show, relive it on a guided (R-rated) bus tour.

NYC TV & Movie Sites Tour
For a little bit of everything, the NYC TV & Movie Sites Tour is your best bet. The tour covers classic locations like Monica’s apartment from Friends or the firehouse from Ghostbusters. Plus, you’ll also see some sites from LGBT shows as well, like the park where Damon dances for money in Pose or the plaza where Will kisses Jack on TV in Will & Grace.

Central Park TV & Movie Sites Walking Tour
If walking is more your style, take advantage of the June weather and enjoy sunny Central Park on the Central Park TV & Movie Sites Walking Tour. See where the Glee kids sing “I Love New York / New York, New York” when they come to New York for Nationals and where Abbi and Ilana galavant in the park in Broad City. You’ll also see where (gay icon) Princess Giselle aka Amy Adams performs “That’s How You Know” in Enchanted.

If you want to see New York in a different way, taking a TV and movie tour is the way to go. In addition to these three, we also offer a Sopranos Sites Tour, a Gossip Girl Sites Tour, a Superheroes Tour, and more! Check them all out here.
