Peachtree City, located just 26 miles south of Atlanta, is a haven for golf and golf cart aficionados. Peachtree City’s 90-mile network of golf-cart paths stretch through lakes and greenbelts. Life moves a little slower at 15 miles per hour, but you’ll be able to enjoy the city’s three lakes, two nature trails, and three world-class golf courses. You can even take your golf cart to the city’s restaurants and shops at The Avenue.

In March, the Wine and Warbirds Wine Festival takes places at the Dixie Wing WWII Aircraft Museum.

September, the beginning of autumn’s crisp weather, is host to the Dragon Boat Races and International Festival on Lake McIntosh. 2019 marks the 12th year of the Rotary Club’s festival. The festival is full of international cuisine and culture and of course, the exciting Dragon Boat Races.

Craft beer fan? Come to Peachtree City in November for the Annual “Hops and Props” Craft Beer Festival. Taste craft brews in one-of-a-kind WWII aircraft setting. Your ticket will include a souvenir mug, tasting, live music and more. Food trucks on hand for those craving bites in between tastes.

Outdoor enthusiast?

When you’re not golfing, enjoy the nature trails at Flat Creek and Line Creek. Flat Creek Nature Area is a 513 acre wetland that extends 3.5 miles along Flat Creek. Line Creek Nature Area is a 70 acre public preserve along Line Creek. You can enjoy a fish dock, gazebo and several miles of nature trails.

When you’re done with golfing, enjoy a nightcap before relaxing in bed at the Peachtree City Hotel and Conference Resort.
