Heading to Toronto soon? Here are the best ways to get here and get around.

Getting To Toronto
About 5 hours from Montreal, 4 hours from Ottawa-Gatineau and just over an hour from the US border, Toronto is a great weekend destination that will only take one tank of gas or less to get to. If you’re not up for the drive, here are a few other ways to get to Toronto.

Air

Toronto Pearson International Airport is easily accessible to the downtown core. Jump on the UP Express train from the airport and you’ll be downtown Toronto in just 25 minutes.

Train
If you choose to take the VIA Rail in and you’ll enjoy a scenic ride on your way to and from Union Station in Toronto all while relaxing and enjoying the down time.

Bus
If you’re looking to save a few dollars, Greyhound is a great option with many stops in Ontario, Quebec and the US.

Getting Around Toronto
Now that you’ve made it to Toronto you’ll find there are lots of ways to get around downtown and throughout the GTA. Here are 6 tips so you can get the most out of your trip.

1. Explore the GTA through Go Transit
The train and bus system connects Toronto’s downtown to the outskirts.

Trip Idea: Stay at the serene Hilton Garden Inn Burlington/Toronto and enjoy daytrips through Go Transit to both downtown Toronto (less than an hour) and Niagara (just over an hour). 4. Ride the TTC
Through the TTC, Toronto’s subway, bus and streetcar system, you can get to some of the best Toronto attractions including Canada’s Wonderland, Ontario Science Centre and the Toronto Zoo. Day Passes start at $12.50 and Family Passes are also available.

5. Bike around
