Boston's "Little Italy"

Often referred to as Boston’s version of “Little Italy,” the narrow cobblestone streets of the North End are lined with Italian restaurants, pastry shops and many other establishments and attractions. The popular Freedom Trail weaves through many iconic landmarks in this neighborhood, such as Paul Revere’s house and the Old North Church.

Rich in history, the North End is Boston’s first residential neighborhood, and is within walking distance of Quincy Market, Government Center, and downtown’s Financial District. Visit the North End in the summer to experience one of the many annual festivals and feasts that celebrate and illuminate the neighborhood’s deep ties to Italian culture.
