Capitol Hill is one of Seattle’s most diverse neighborhoods. This area is packed with cool bars, hip restaurants, local coffee shops, and small boutiques. Besides one of the large Seattle-based chains, like Starbucks and Tully’s, Capitol Hill has some of the top locally owned coffeehouses. This area is the city’s center for the LGBT community and music culture, but everyone is welcome here.
Capitol Hill is home to the Landmark Theater, which hosts the Seattle International Film Festival every year. From the highest point on Capitol Hill, you’ll see beautiful views overlooking the city below. Climb to the top of the water tower at Volunteer Park to escape from city life and watch the sun go down. Once the sun sets, Capitol Hill starts to come to life. Enjoy night clubs, karaoke, and some of the hippest bars in the area.
