It’s August, which means school is back in session and the summer is coming to an end. Before the season changes, check out what’s going on this month to see how the Braves can help you finish your summer out strong.

This month, the Atlanta Braves will welcome alumni to SunTrust Park for the ninth annual Alumni Weekend. From August 10 to 12, fans will be able to create lasting memorable experiences meeting some of the best players to ever wear the Braves uniform.

Alumni weekend kicks off with alumni autographs on Friday. From 6-7 p.m., alumni will be available for autographs throughout SunTrust Park. On Saturday, before the gates open, the alumni will parade down Battery Avenue to say hello to fans. The Braves Legends Parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. inside The Battery Atlanta at the intersection of Battery Avenue and Heritage Court. This event is open to the public and a game ticket is not required.

At 5:30 p.m., the alumni will take the field in a softball home run derby. Right before the game, all Braves legends will walk a red carpet as they are individually introduced on the field. Fans can get up close to the players with the purchase of the Alumni Homecoming Ticket Package. The purchase of this ticket package gives fans access to line the red carpet in centerfield to welcome the former Braves players home. Please note: Space is limited for this activity.

The weekend concludes Sunday with alumni photos on the field. From 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., fans are invited onto the warning track to take photos with the alumni players.

Unless noted, all Alumni Weekend activities require a game ticket. For more information, to see the alumni roster or to purchase your tickets visit The Alumni roster is subject to change without notice.

Also at SunTrust Park, on August 19, two-time Grammy nominee Lauren Daigle will perform in a postgame concert presented by Chick-Fil-A. Admission to the concert is included with the purchase of a game ticket. You can purchase your tickets at

Through August 31, the Braves are celebrating the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s newest inductee, Braves legend Chipper Jones. To honor this coveted accomplishment, the Atlanta Braves have opened a pop-up exhibit at The Battery Atlanta chronicling Chipper Jones’ 19-year major league career with the Braves. The exhibit features unique curated items and several artifacts created exclusively for the exhibit. The exhibit is free and open to the public on game days from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m., non-gamedays from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and every Sunday from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
