Fort Lauderdale boasts a thriving craft brew scene. We’ve gathered the top breweries and bars for you to kick back and enjoy.


Funky Buddha Brewery  – 1201 NE 38th St, Oakland Park, FL 33334. Located in the new Culinary Arts District, Funky Buddha is Broward County’s first industrial microbrewery and the largest in South Florida with a massive tap room, brewery tours, a new food outlet and life-size Jenga and bocce ball.

Tarpon River Brewing – 280 SW 6th Street in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Greater Fort Lauderdale’s newest brewery is housed an 11,000-sq ft tap room and restaurant situated in a warehouse space originally constructed as the Snyder Stables in the 1920s. The historical space creates an old-Florida cracker style tap room that includes a 1,000-square-foot house built within the infrastructure and includes a patio atop AstroTurf for patrons to play a selection of yard games. There are 16 rotating taps and a barrel-lined tasting room serving as a space for private events, team brewing classes, a gift shop with brewery merchandise and a growler filling station.

LauderAle Brewery – 3305 SE 14th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. South Florida’s only first and only nano brewery, LauderAle’s beers range in a wide variety of rotating styles from Blondes to Imperial Stouts, along with seasonals, special releases and guest taps from local Florida breweries.

Khoffner Brewery USA – 1110 NE 8th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. The third Khoffner brewery (others are in Turkey) by a third generation beer brewer focuses on traditional, German-style recipes brewed using grains and malt sourced directly from Bamberg, Germany.

Bangin’ Banjo Brewing Company – 3200 NW 23rd Ave #500, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. Hand-crafted and full-flavored craft beers are the name of the game at Pompano Beach’s first craft microbrewery.

26° Brewing Company – 2600 E Atlantic Blvd, Pompano Beach, FL 33062. Named after the 26th parallel north line of latitude where it sits, 26° Brewing Company beers including Captain Ron Hefeweizen, Tri-County Common Lager and Ziko’s Rage Imperial Stout as well as craft beer to go in aluminum Crowlers, perfect for the beach.

Big Bear Brewing Company – 1800 North University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33071. This microbrewery opened in 1997 and offers American comfort food and fresh-brewed and award-winning beers.

Hollywood Brewing Company  – 290 N Broadwalk, Hollywood, FL 33019. European-style and American-inspired craft brewery, steps from Hollywood Beach.

Craft Beer Bars

Craft Beer Cartel  – 557 SW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Home to more than 1000 craft beers, Native Brewing Company on-site brewery, Broward county’s first home brew supply shop and a decorative floor made with 300,000+ bottle caps.

The Mack House  – 9118 W State Rd 84, Davie, FL 33324. This west Broward brew-pub is a go-to spot for craft beers complete with couches and video games.

Tap 42  – 1411 S Andrews Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. This craft beer bar offers 42 taps and an outdoor beer garden, plus creative burgers and small plates.

American Social Bar & Kitchen  – 721 E Las Olas Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. With more than 523 beers on tap, this hotspot on Fort Lauderdale’s ‘Style Mile’ is widely recognized for its extensive selection of craft beers.

Shooters Waterfront  – 3033 NE 32nd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. Located on the Intracoastal, this waterfront dining destination launched its first signature draft beer with Biscayne Bay Brewery. Shooters Ale features light caramel + toffee notes rounded out by a smooth hop bitterness.

Riverside Market & Riverside Market South  – 608 SW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL and 3218 SE 6th Avenue,  Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. This easy-going craft beer boutique and family-run restaurant serves more than 550 craft beers and has two locations. The original location, Riverside market, is located across from Craft Beer Cartel, its sister operation.

Laser Wolf  – 901 Progresso Dr #101, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. Laid-back craft beer bar with live music, a biergarten and 12 rotating drafts.

The Brass Tap  – 551 N Federal Hwy #600, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. This neighborhood brew-pub offers more than 300 craft beers from around the globe and is the first brew-pub in Fort Lauderdale to have its own in-house brewing system.
