Baseball is back in season! In the Twin Cities that (usually) means warm, sunny days and a cold beer in-hand.

Don’t miss catching a game at downtown Target Field when you’re in town. Opened in 2010, there’s not a bad seat in the entire stadium. Add in awesome food and drink options and you’re in for a great day at the ballpark.

Enjoy Some of the Best in Ballpark Fare

For me, a day at the ballpark isn’t complete without a hotdog and a cold one. Target Field does it right with some delicious gourmet options, traditional ballpark favorites, and well-loved local brews. Here are just a few to get you dreaming about that next Target Field game:

Newly opened Bat & Barrel welcomes all ticket holders to try a few menu items developed by local restaurants.

Check out the Impossible Burger from Hell’s Kitchen (pictured below) – it’s vegetarian! Or opt for something more traditional and order the sliders from CRAVE.

Not looking for the standard ballpark fare? Try Baja Haus’s tuna poke or chicken parmesan from Red Rabbit. Pair your choice with a great summer cocktail developed by Tattersall, a local Minneapolis distillery.

Outside of Bat & Barrel, don’t miss getting a brat from local favorite Kramarczuk’s. They’ve really taken it up a notch with their cheese brat – the brat you know and love, injected with gooey cheese. Located in sections 101, 113 and 312.

If you’re looking for some food with a punch, check out Hot Indian Foods, section 120. Their newest menu item is the Tofu Vindaloo, another veggie-friendly find in the ballpark.

Sweet tooth craving? Frozen Hot Chocolate is now available at Andrew Zimmern’s Canteen in section 114. It’s perfect for those hot, summer days and perfectly shareable.

And we can’t forget about the beer. Wherever you turn, you’re sure to find tons of great options. If you’re feeling undecided, check out Drafts at 34 which features 22 beers on tap, including local brewery, Surly.

Beer not your thing? You can always brave the meal and a beverage that is Hrbek’s Bloody Mary (section 114).

Don’t miss trying some of these items, or all of them, and more at Target Field this season.
