Situated in the heart of eastern Ontario, Napanee is a small town that packs a big punch, rich in history.
The town is part of the County of Lennox & Addington which is the heart of Eastern Ontario. It is located along Highway 401, making it easy getaway. It borders the shores of the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario north to Roblin, the western gateway to the Land O’Lakes Region.
The town is home to the Allan Macpherson House, which is a historical property built in 1826, now converted into a museum. Macpherson served as the post master, land agent and operated the first local printing press which helped establish many local schools and churches.
